Cool Runnings Dragon Boat Team initially formed nearly 15 years ago when a group of 16 friends and colleagues from St Neots largest employer WR Grace got together and entered a local charity event. During the event the crews power and raw talent was spotted by a local Dragon Boat trainer and the team were asked to consider training and racing in the sports national league. Cool Runnings Dragon Boat Team had begun.

Today the team is still up and running as active and long term competitors in the British Dragon Boat Association, the countries National League, proudly we won the countries Standard League as Double National Champions in 2009 and we are also very proud to boast that several of our paddlers have represented Great Britain in various age groups at international events.

Cool Runnings Dragon Boat Teams foundations are built on friendship, family and paddling with power, but most importantly for us our whole ethos is built around two very important words to us!

We have excellent relationships with many other teams up and down the country and enjoy an awesome social scene around the circuit.
 We have parents and children, husbands and wives paddling in the same team and ages ranging from 12 to 64.

We dont just train and race either! We've trained other teams for charity regattas, after all everyone wants to win, and with a little bit of training prior to a race day you really can have the edge, we've taken organisations out for team building events and we also have taken out scouting groups.

We are currently on the search for new thrill seekers to join our crew and to help take us back to the very top level of competing.
